Graston

What is Graston Technique?

The Graston Technique® incorporates a patented form of instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization that enables clinicians to effectively detect and treat scar tissue and restrictions that affect normal function. The Graston instruments help to diagnose and treat injured soft tissue and are more sensitive than our own hands. The Technique utilizes specially designed stainless steel instruments to specifically detect and effectively treat areas exhibiting soft tissue fibrosis or chronic inflammation.

Is Graston Technique for you?

Scar tissue and soft tissue damage prevent fluid movement of muscles, tendons, ligaments and surrounding tissue. Thus, when someone says they feel tight, or have a pain with movement, they are experiencing the binding effect of scar tissue.

If you have had previous injuries or conditions that restrict movement, cause pain or poor circulation, then you should come in for a consultation.
